Church camp 19th to 21st March! Hahaha 'twas quite fun la, even though I didn't play the games x)

Oh anyway, medcheck on Fri morning, the noob medics draw blood until now still got blueblack, failz. Reached campsite about 2pm. Caught a cold that morning so I used all my tissue on the first day :\

So..first day, I missed icebreakers in the morning. It was raining also, so the dry games became abit wet. Played three legged soccer (my ankle got bruised badly), dodgeball with tangerines and broccoli and pingpong balls, captain's ball also. Didn't run around thaat much but still had fun x)

We washed up and ate dinner, by that time my nose was running nonstop hahaha. First day was the most 'down' for me, cos only had 15plus campers, and few YA, so was abit xian during free times. Debriefed until 12, then went back to bunk and HTHT with Dianne and fell asleep after awhile. Didn't even know when Emme came back from her bath and switched the lights off lol. Highlight of debrief when Joel said he experienced some 'overpowering swearing' in camp, where we thus concluded that we should actively discourage the usage of vulgarities the following day hahaha.
Woke up in the morning at 7.20 feeling much worse cos my nose was blocked and my throat was sore..Then remembered that Nat was coming to camp later so I got him to buy Panadol Cold Relief from Sembawang for me. Thought Nat'd reach before Candace did (cos' at 9plus he said he was leaving his house and reaching 'soon', and Candace was due to come around 10ish 11 haha) but he reached later so that was dumbz. Anyway, I led the younger guys for devotion, like go through what we learnt in the message last night, and how to hold fast to the Word. Group dynamics for the guys was the amoeba game, Joel was explaining the instructions and he said he wanted one guy to be the nucleus but he thought it was plural and said 'nuclear'. Tyn and I corrected him multiple times and it went something like this:
J: ...so we need one guy to be the nuclear and-
T: Joel, nucleus.
J: Uhh..okay..so we need one person to be the nuclear la
S: Nono, nucleus, nucleus!
J: But nucleus sounds weird cos it has an 's' !
T: Nucleus, it's nucleus.
J: Right, we need one person to be the .. nucleus, and he will stand in the middle ......

Haha, Emme and I then went to join the girls' group dynamics, which was a HTHT about BGR and PMS lol. I thought it was abit heh, but okai, I was never really shy about these things anyway. We also went on to a list of what we would look for in a guy lol. Mine was that he should be someone I can follow, and he must have my family's and friends' approval. Basically I'd rather a guy who treats all girls the same (which is treating them normalnice) than a guy who treats me like a queen and his other friends like dirt. If nobody in my circle of friends like him, and I like him alotalot, then there may be something that I'm not seeing, yepp.
Lunch next, and wet games next. Was raining again, so people got wet before playing haha. I dodged this one and sat in the canteen watching them play. General lethargy and after taking Panadol I was abit woozy also lol. Seemed quite fun (: Photos are allll on facebook heh.

Talent night was quite cute, videos are also on facebook. Debriefed till 12 again, three guys let loose a frog in the lap of Joel, and it jumped up towards the girls and they all screamed and ran about. Haha. Ryan thought Dianne was going to step on the poor frog in her haste to get away, agh that'd be sick. So..we were on our way to the canteen to slack and talk, Belle asked for help on Chem so I stayed there to teach her abit. When I reached the canteen Ry was telling army ghost stories hahaha. After listening to some, Dianne didn't want to listen anymore and Nat was like, stop stop, I still need to book in tomorrow night lol. All the ghost stories were Tekong one, so..anyway I found them quite interesting haha. Some were funny, like some idiot locked his phone into his cupboard and someone called him in the middle of the night. It vibrated = made the cupboard shake noisily which woke half the bunk up and scared them shitless until the owner realised it was his phone loll.

We went upstairs to the common space where there was light and they started telling army stories. Funny people in their company/camp, screwedup things that happened, cool things that happened, like just recently Ninja COY got some guy kena stroke, airvac'd to mainland. The 'copter landed in the field and Nat was watching (it was the weekend he got confined apparently, means 13th Mar night) and the rotor blades was huge and powerful etc.etc. Ryan mentioned a time when the Leopard tanks drove out onto the roads and I remembered a time when I was cycling in ECP and saw friggin' tanks on ECP like the highway. I was gawking at the sheer size of the tank hahaha. It was supposedly some exercise to test whether the roads can support the tank weight lol. He said there were bigger tanks and I was like, ah, do you guys have big tanks which open up and like, five small tanks come out lol, like Transformers type x) Hahaha anyway there wasn't, but there are tanks which open up and infantry come running out. There are also tanks which open up and have two motorcycles come out, then the infantry come running out. And there are also tanks which open up and nothing comes out lol.

We talked about drills, and how some weird people horsekick/do a round kick when stamping, rifle drills "1 check, clear check, .....' some ultra long timing lol. And stories during live range, like when Ryan fell prone to shoot, on the way up the barrel got caught in his LBV's right pocket and after twisting it out, he realised that the barrel was pointing straight at him. Or he knows of someone from another unit who prone'd on a tree root and impaled himself. Airlifted to hospital. Tonnes of weird funny stuff which happened haha. Slept late, like 3am x)
Next morning just mostly packup, breakfast, take photos, then went LAN and came home around 5plus. DMS interview today at 3, pray for a clear mind (:
